Click the right mouse button on file 'Start' and left mouse click on 'Run as Administrator'. This is how you can run it with system admin privilege: please browse the CD using the Windows File explorer. Require system admin privilege to install the software. I tested this version also working in Win7/8 very well. Originally released for older Windows XP. Players cannot choose which expansions they wish to install, but must install the entire product with all expansions plus the bonus Sims Creator.
It is designed for "all or nothing" installation. The Sims: Complete Collection is an all-in-one collection that includes The Sims, all seven of its expansion packs and a bonus Sims Creator in four CDs. All game and 7 expansion packs are included in four CDs. CDs have minor scratches from normal use and verified all no read error installed in Win7. This item includes 4 CDs and a manual in original thick DVD style case.
